Pyrolite E-Z Fill

Pyrolite E-Z FILL is a high-temperature repair and joint adhesive packaged in a convenient 10 oz. tube. It is engineered for environments reaching up to 2300°F (1260°C), provided there is no direct contact with molten metal.

Application Instructions

1. Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean and clear of dust, debris, or release coatings.

2. Application: Apply the product to the target area. Use a squeegee or a plastic card to smooth the adhesive flat against the surface.

3. Drying: Allow the adhesive to air dry until it is completely "bone dry."

   • To speed up the process: You may use a hot air blower or a low-velocity flame, keeping temperatures under 200°F (95°C).

4. Finishing: Once dry, lightly sand the area. Start with a medium grit and progress to finer grits until the surface is perfectly smooth.

   • Note: This adhesive is a compatible substrate for kiln wash; it will not cause the wash to pool or bead.

Storage & Performance

• Temperature Range: Best stored between 40°F (4°C) and 90°F (32°C).

• Shelf Life: * Standard: 1 year.

  • Controlled Environment: 2+ years (when kept in temperature and humidity-controlled storage).
